Look for the Rainbow card kit inspiration

This video is sharing my first card using the Look for the Rainbow card kit from Simon Says Stamp! These cards were made using items from the card kit. Stay tuned for more examples using this card kit.

It is also Stamptember for Simon Says Stamp. They just released the Stamptember release. Go check it out! Simonsaysstamp.com

Throughout the month they will be releasing limited edition items so be on the lookout for those!

Alcohol ink background

In my latest video, I share how I made a beautiful blue alcohol ink background. The sentiment is from the Simon Says Stamp Leafy Frames stamp set. The sentiment was stamped on a piece of vellum using SSS clear embossing ink and coated with white embossing powder. Once the embossing powder was heat set and cooled, I adhered the vellum panel to the back of the alcohol ink background. The embellishment for this card is Doodblebug enamel hearts.

Watermelon panel

I have a new video up on my YouTube channel sharing how I made this quick and easy watermelon card panel. I used the panel as the cover for a message book that was created for a co-worker moving out of state. She loved the book and now that I have gifted it to her, I can share how I created it.

I used abandoned coral distress oxide ink for 3/4 of the panel. I then adhered a strip of white and green card stock for the rind. I did not have a stamp set that would look like a watermelon seed so I used a small heart stamp from my stash. I love how this project turned out. I will recreate the panel to make some summer birthday cards!
