My first blog hop!

I was selected to participate in a blog hop featuring cut files from Jill Cameron Creations. I decided to make 4 cards with a few of the cut file options. Head over to https://jillcameroncreations.com to check out the great cut file options that I have used.

Of course the rainbow option caught my attention. I cut out the rainbow and clouds using heavy weight card stock. I then colored the rainbow using my Arteza everblend alcohol markers. The thank you sentiment is also from the same cut file. I used mirrored gold card stock to cut this out. I coated the clouds with Lawn Fawn liquid stardust. For the background I used the My Favorite Things cloud stencil and Distress Oxide ink in Salty Ocean. I also splattered the background with water and then the liquid stardust. I LOVE how this card turned out.

For my next 3 cards, I used the layered diamond cut file. This set has 3 differed layers that are meant to be put together. I decided to cut the file out from 3 different card stocks. I used a light purple, a dark purple and black. I then mixed up the layers to create a unique look for each card. I backed the first card with mirrored card stock. The second one was back with patterned paper from Brutus Monroe. The third one, I made into a shaker card. The sentiments were also from the cut files. The words were cut from black mirror card stock and the shadow layer was cut from vellum. I enjoyed making these cards. I am fairly new to using my Cricut machine so I was quite pleased that I was able to figure out how to do this.
