Watermelon panel

I have a new video up on my YouTube channel sharing how I made this quick and easy watermelon card panel. I used the panel as the cover for a message book that was created for a co-worker moving out of state. She loved the book and now that I have gifted it to her, I can share how I created it.

I used abandoned coral distress oxide ink for 3/4 of the panel. I then adhered a strip of white and green card stock for the rind. I did not have a stamp set that would look like a watermelon seed so I used a small heart stamp from my stash. I love how this project turned out. I will recreate the panel to make some summer birthday cards!
